So we all know how tough relationships can be.
I DEFINITELY DO!!!
I love my boyfriend, but we are FAR FROM PERFECT! There is no such thing as a perfect relationship. One thing that I know for sure that will make it harder though is if you haven’t done the self-work necessary to prepare you for it.
I’m no relationship expert and probably not even qualified to talk on this subject, but I’ve been asked by several listeners “How did I find a good man?” Honestly sis I don’t know. But I do know that if I had healed and done more self-work BEFORE my relationship I believe that things could have been easier for us to get to where we are now (and we’re still working, progress never stops!)
But hey everything happens for a reason, right?
In this episode I discuss 5 things that I wish I would have known/done BEFORE the relationship, and that most of us should do BEFORE the relationship.

There is even scientific evidence that people who practice gratitude are in better health than those who don’t!
So I challenge you to join my November gratitude challenge that starts today.
Everyday in the month of November I will post a gratitude journal or gratitude activity prompt (on FB Stories as a post on my personal page, in my FB Group & on my IG). If you don’t journal or don’t want to start (it is very therapeutic though IJS,) just think about the prompt and how you would answer it, or say out loud why your grateful for xyz or comment on the post.

Have you ever wondered or been upset when things don’t go your way?
I know I have. I’m a “planner” I like to have my days planned out. I don’t like change (even though I know it can good for growth!) Don’t let something come up last minute that could have been planned out weeks, days or months ahead of time…..I’m PISSED!
Something unexpected comes up with my finances…..PISSED
The water bill is $200 more than expected….PISSED
I get moved to a different unit at work….PISSED
MY FOOD ORDER IS WRONG (I know this is petty but I’m a foodie Lol)…..PISSED
Flight delays…PISSED
Take a wrong turn or there’s a wreck and now I’m going to be late….YOU ALREADY KNOW…PISSED!!!
But we know like attracts like so having a “pissy” attitude is not going to help anything.
Life is not “fair!”
We all go through things that we’d rather not go through, but these situations are sometimes necessary to mold us into the person we want to become!
You’ll never know your strength if you never have a reason to find it!
Listen to this episode to receive some insight on other ways to looking at unideal situations to turn that attitude around!

I don’t know if it’s the retrograde, covid, the times, OR WHAT…..but I know so many people including me who have just not been on their A-game. Not feeling like themselves and going through A LOT.
So, I said to myself I need a “restart.” And I love a good challenge. I think that you grow the most when you are challenged.
Bill Gates said- Most people often overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in 10 years (cant get to 10 years without going through 6 months first right?)
So let’s start with 6 months Nov 1st 2021 – Apr 30th 2022
Come up with your own 6-month challenge. Whatever it is you feel you need to work on and would like to get better at. What do you really want out of life? What do you really want to achieve? Think about those things and some steps you could make over the next 6 months to get there.
My goals are going to be based on the 8 pillars of wellness.
- Physical
- Spiritual
- Emotional
- Intellectual
- Financial
- Social
- Environmental
- Occupational

Hey Y’all,
I love the “How to Love Yourself Cards” by Louise Hay. It is a deck of 64 affirmations for you to speak over yourself.
I purchased them on Amazon for approximately $20 and they are a great little pick me up when I’m down or need a journal prompt.
In this episode I will read several of the cards and talk about them and how they pertain to my life and my experiences and how you can use them in your life in your experiences as well.
I highly recommend you to purchase these cards if you are able to. They are great to hang around your home, put in your purse, your car, or your office just to have little reminders to love yourself, and give yourself grace, and to be patient and kind with yourself.
